Build once. Sync everywhere.

Download the beta of TMS Component System, reusable component masters that keep every instance across your site in sync, with per-instance overrides and drift detection.

What you get

  • Component masters: a dedicated Components screen for your reusable block templates
  • Synchronized instances: update every instance from the master in one click
  • Per-property overrides: style instances individually without touching the master
  • Content areas: free-form zones inside locked components
  • Staleness & drift detection: see exactly what’s out of date
  • Nested components: build components out of other components

Before you install

  • TMS Blocks (free, WordPress.org) must be installed and active — TMS Component System is an extension of it.
  • WordPress **6.5+**, PHP **7.4+**
  • Install on a **staging or test site first** — this is a beta.

Install (3 steps)

  1. Download the ZIP above.
  2. Upload it in wp-admin. Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, Install Now, then Activate.
  3. Find the Components menu. It appears in your admin sidebar once activated.

Activate your trial

The plugin is premium — your license key activates component masters, instance sync, and staleness detection.

  • Your 30-day trial gives full access, no payment required to start.
  • If your license lapses, only the component-system features turn off — your site and existing content stay exactly as they are.
  • Sign up with the same email you joined the beta with, so we can match your feedback to your account.

Need more time? If you’re still actively testing when your trial ends, email contact@terriblemonsterstudio.com and we’ll extend it — just ask. Extensions during the beta are handled individually, not automatic, so don’t let it lapse silently if you’re mid-project.

When we launch Active beta testers get early access to launch pricing. We’ll email everyone with advance notice before the beta ends.

What “beta” means

  • It’s free to try — you’re helping us make it better.
  • Expect a few rough edges, and possibly breaking changes to the data model — that’s part of why it’s beta.
  • Updates ship through your license during the beta — keep the latest version for the newest fixes.
  • Found a bug or have feedback? Tell us — it genuinely shapes the product.
